NASCAR Winston Cup Series Logo
From 1972 through 2003, NASCAR's premier series was called the Winston Cup Series. It was sponsored by R.J. Reynolds Tobacco cigarette brand Winston. In its later years, RJR's sponsorship became more controversial in the wake of U.S. legislation that sharply restricted avenues for tobacco advertising.

NASCAR Nextel Cup Series Logo
Nextel Communications and NASCAR signed a 10-year title-sponsor agreement in June of 2003 and on September 22, 2003 NASCAR unveiled the official logo for the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series that was used from 2004 through 2007.

NASCAR Busch Series Logo
NASCAR's second division which was first called “Late Model Sportsman” obtained the title of “Grand National” and soon found a sponsor in Busch Beer. Between 1981-2007 a 26 year sponsorship by Anheuser-Busch's Busch brand was known as "Busch Series Racing".

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Logo
During the 2007 Pepsi 400 weekend in Daytona NASCAR and Sprint made a significant announcement for 2008 and beyond. Beginning January 1st, 2008 Sprint replaced NEXTEL in all NASCAR branding. After a merger between Sprint and Nextel it was evident that Sprint plans on focusing customers towards Sprint as the primary brand.

NASCAR Nationwide Series Logo
In October of 2007 NASCAR and Nationwide Insurance unveiled the logo for the NASCAR Nationwide Series after 26 years of sponsorship by Anheuser-Busch's Busch brand. NASCAR and Nationwide announced a seven-year partnership agreement on Oct. 3, which also made the insurance company the official auto, home and life insurance provider of NASCAR.

This NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series carried a new look into its 2006 season following the successful completion of its first 10 Years. Craftsman was the presenting sponsor in 1995, the series' first season.
NASCAR Canadian Tire Series Logo
NASCAR announced the purchase of Canadian racing series CASCAR in September of 2006. The CASCAR Western Series became NASCAR's fourth-tier series starting in the Fall of 2007.

In December of 2006, NASCAR also announced the creation of a new series in Mexico, the NASCAR Corona Series, replacing the existing Desafío Corona Series, to begin in 2007.
